Unbuilt Washington

It’s worth spending a few hours at The National Building Museum’s “Unbuilt Washington” exhibition, the most engaging and rich show the museum has mounted in several years. And I don’t think my enthusiasm is based on being a resident of D.C. The broader theme of the exhibition is about architecture, democracy and symbolism. I reviewed the exhibition in Sunday’s The Washington Post, which features a gallery of some of the near misses and might-have-beens.
