  1. Congratulations to Philip Kennicot for his bright and entertaining article on Gauguin’s exhibition on WP, Feb. 27. Good substance and good writing. At the very margin of the exhibition, I would decry the total disharmony between Gauguin’s works and the style of the frames of most of them. Renaissance or Louis Philippe are revulsive to the poetry of “Amata Te Oviri”.
