Back in town after a month wandering in Southeast Asia. And back to work. On Saturday, I’m leading a panel on public art at the Anacostia branch of the DC Public Library. The panel includes Wanda Aikens, executive direct of the Ward 7 Arts Collaborative, Mary Brown, head of Life Pieces to Masterpieces, artists Rik Freeman and Craig Kraft, David Furchgott, president of International Arts and Artists and Deirdre Thayer Ehlen of the D.C. Commission on Arts and Humanities. It begins at 1 p.m. and is free to all. Drop by: Anacostia Neighborhood Library, 1800 Good Hope Road, SE.
